The Comedy Zone
http://thecrankstore.homestead.com/TheComedyZone.html
For over 8 years, The Comedy Zone DC has offered the nation's top comics and talented variety acts to the Washington DC Metro Area, setting the standard for the DC comedy scene. Historically we've performed at venues with delicious menus, beautiful decor and convenient locations. Windows Over Washington Restaurant offers our most unique dining experience yet! For the best comedy in DC and original variety acts, The Comedy Zone DC is the only choice.
Not only is Windows Over Washington conveniently located off of Interstate 395 and easily accessible to Metro Rail, this 14th floor restaurant boasts one of the most spectacular views of the Washington DC skyline. After the show, be sure to check out the Sky Dome - one floor above us, the area's only revolving lounge. Experience a DC comedy venue lke no other at The Comedy Zone DC
The format for an evening at the comedy zone is an hour of live jazz music, followed by the stage show featuring a variety act (usually magic), and then a stand-up comic.
Geo will be performing his comedy magic October 16, 24, 25 (and probably other dates too, call for information and to make reservations)

A Magical Approach to Problem Solving
Thurs., March 13, 7 to 9 p.m.
$30 members $40 non-members
When it comes to solving problems, magician David Ben says we must first eliminate the word “impossible” from our vocabulary. That’s why he takes participants behind the scenes of the world of magic, revealing tricks of the trade that magicians, card cheats, and psychics use to perform the seemingly impossible.
Ben compares the secrets of magic with the secrets of success. He demystifies the problem-solving process, using the metaphor of magic to empower participants with new ideas and techniques that help in creative and pragmatic problem solving.
Ben is a magician, keynote speaker, former tax lawyer, and author of Advantage Play: A Manager’s Guide to Creative Problem Solving.
